Educational Groups
Find community support & bond with your peers.
CFS Regina organizes a number of different group education and counselling services for both youth and adults.
The Youth Mentor Program provides one-on-one individualized support for youth between the ages of 6-18 who are involved with the Ministry of Social Services by matching them with a positive adult role model to engage in fun, educational, and recreational activities in the community.
The youth and their mentor spend time together developing a meaningful and trusting relationship that helps the youth enhance their identity, improve their self esteem & self worth as well as establish life, coping and social skills.
For more information on the program, give us a call and ask for the Youth Mentor Supervisor.
Why the Youth Mentor Program?
It’s about fun!
Mentors address the needs of the youth, help them identify and achieve their goals by focusing on having fun through healthy community and recreational activities like swimming, skating, football, library & science center visits, group events and much more!
Can I Refer My Youth?
Youths age 6 to 18 must be referred through the Ministry of Social Services in order to participate in the program. Community and self referrals are not accepted for this program.
