CFS Regina – Newcomer Career and Support Services in partnership with IEC-BC (Immigrant Employment Council of BC) are organizing a program on Ascend Blended Training program.
ASCEND (Applied Skills Curriculum to Empower Newcomer Development) is an employment readiness program designed to support the soft skill and intercultural competencies of skilled immigrants and refugees. The program’s focus is on the development of essential skills identified by employers, HR experts and mentors as key to employment success in Canada.
ASCEND uses a “blended learning” model: core concepts are presented online and then practiced and developed through the program’s workshops.
The full program includes 13 modules: 7 online modules and 6 webinars via Zoom

- Building your job search and interview soft skills
- Onboarding and Organizational Culture
- Career progression
- Professional Communication
Information Session:
Date: October 7th, 2021/Thursday

IMPROTANT: Clients must be attend the Information Session before registering the program

Participants must have permanent residence or refugee status.
